Sorry, but it's her time to go

by Tangible heartache   Aug 13, 2008

She sits in her room, staring at her knife,
Trying to figure out if it's the right thing to do,
Trying to figure out if she should take her life,
Because she knows she forever is nothing to you.

Tears slowly fall down her flushed cheeks,
As she starts to cut her already scarred wrists,
Blood starts to dip, and her veins leak,
There is no more reason to live, no reason to exist.

Her ragged breathing starts to come fast,
And her vision flickers in and out,
She knows her next breath will be her last,
So she says her next words, for she shouts.

"I'm sorry I could never be enough for you,
I am sorry for the pain you're in, but no more will I live on,
No more will I cry at night, because I am through,
Let the bright light take me away, soon I'll be gone!"

A small smile slowly spreads across her face,
And her dull brown eyes finally look alive,
Because now she is in a better place,
For her time to go has finally arrived.

    :) this is beautiful, sweetheart...

but sad, of course. breaks my heart.
Her ragged breathing starts to come fast,
And her vision flickers in and out,
She knows her next breath will be her last,
So she says her next words, for she shouts.
best stanza..... this one. raged breathing..... vision flickers.... very very dark.
