There is a complete emptiness around you
Not one you can describe
Surrounded by friends and loved ones
You don't see eye to eye
The world just seems fake
The walls were never real
And oh how you with to fly away
But in this cage you must stay
Everything has a look
Like its there,
But yet, it's not
You talk and nod your head
But you are elsewhere.
On the black island of desolation
Where not even the most courageous,
Dare to roam.
One you arrive there is no way back.
Hunger gnaws at you,
Thirst drives you on.
But no matter how fast,
How long you travel...
You are alone.
