Final Actions

by HeatherP   Aug 14, 2008

Let the world decay,
Let the people die,
Without hope,
Without purpose,
Let the lacerations bleed dry.

Addiction without cause
Woes you just cant exceed,
Sometimes you have to pause and rewind,
Sometime you have to bleed.
Emotions run rampant
Feelings are rendered awry
Broken hearts lay resolute
As their host dwindles and dies.

Nothing seems worth the woe
Nothing seems worth the wait
As your soul fills with sorrow
Your heart fills with hate.
And through all the torment
As you cry out in pain
Self-termination looks like a bitter gratification
From this awful disdain.

But instead of dying your anguish is resolved
The pieces come together
Your final actions are absolved.

All these things are forgotten
As your heart becomes anew
You forsake all the hurt
You relinquish the wrong you would do.
Finding a new beginning
A new start
As you resign yourself to love
and it unbreaks your heart.
