Scattered through my body,
These veins intertwine.
So much running through them,
They trace the stories of time.
Holding onto what was once.
They remind me what was there.
Memories flood through them,
Like the blood, they flow free.
Tiny blue lines,
Hold what I remember.
So, cut them open,
And let them pour out.
Images of blue,
Soon turn to red.
Those memories never leave,
But they subside for a moment.
Let me have this moment,
This moment to forget.
Tonight its calling to me,
Those veins that intertwine.
Let the demons silence,
For a moment.
Just a moment.
Tear my veins up,
Release it all.
