Don't tell me why in your reply
My mind, it wants no lie
A sinner sins, for what's within
Begs them not to try

To say what's true will not undo
The life your lips have set askew
A meager want, allowed to taunt
Everything you thought you knew

Do not grieve for what you leave
What you love you don't deceive
You'll never see just what could be
If you won't give and can't receive

Set your eyes upon the skies
Search for all you can't disguise
Ask the Lord to be restored
Grow and become wise

This is my favorite part, your rhyming choice is excellent and this was all very touching. Good work, this was a pleasure to read. Keep writing, always and forever...
