You forgot about it all, the memories and the time we spent together
We were like sisters who were never put together
talking on the phone laughing at stupid things and
even crying and making each other feel better
But now that is all a distant memory, I have realized
that didn't mean anything to you, you took me for granted
when i truly thought you were my best friend
All you see now is those new friends you made
and the memories you share and the stupid things you talk about
and i hope you realize that you pushed me out of your life
SO now that I'm in tears writing this poem i have realized
i thought you were better than this, better than the betrayal,
better than forgetting, and better than pushing me away
I thought you were truly there with me as my
Best friend but you weren't better than that
