Was a Time

There was a time
when we would
just talk away.

But over time
yes we talk
like any other night
but its not the same as
it once was.

You go quiet
and it makes me feel
as if I should just go
and leave you alone
all to your self.

I do not tell you
fore I do not know
how to bring it up
so I just deal with the thoughts
that run through my head every time
we talk.
