Like a Circle

by Kayl   Aug 16, 2008

We start at the beginning,
Or is this another inning?
i seem to loose my mind,
this is an endless circle,
no exit.

We're at the middle,
it seems to be tricky,
the lights are flickering,
those clocks are ticking.

Near the bottom, close to the end,
this is where we pretend.

Silence and distance.

We're back at the beginning, the beginning to the end.
Over and over again, we turn.

Love and kisses, hit and misses.

this endless circle is wearing me thin.

I'm over you--- it's just us two,
up and down,
round and round.

trying not to hit the ground.

Up in the air, why won't you care?!

This circle wont break,
your no longer mine to take.

Just like a river to it's lake, we're always intertwined.
Unfortunately, this circle won't end.

How do i just pretend?
