Life is a Diamond

by Jemma   Aug 16, 2008

Life is a diamond, a precious jewel
But it's not yours, no matter what you do
You know that one day it'll be stolen away
Maybe tomorrow, or maybe today
Polished and pure, forever in its gaze
But with you shall not spend all of its days
Life is a diamond; that is for sure
Perfectly captured tempting us evermore

Weeelllll......I think you're on to something here....
Have you seriously considered the concept of reincarnation as potentially a matter of logical sequence deeply rooted in the complex equation that is the existential dilemma....an equation through which one can actually claim eternal life...?...so liberating..and so very challenging!..(rhetorical question, by the way..not asking for an answer, just, you know, communicating...your poem inspired much rapid thought)
