Winter Mariners

by Ria   Aug 17, 2008

Like something torn apart from summer time
A seagull in this frozen land
A sad and lonely winter mariner
Sailing along the moist sand

Some paths are there just to be crossed
And words won't be talked over
As winds will gasp and storms will pass
Your ship shall be turned over

Spirits shall come and lure you high
To leave these lands and free to fly
But be aware there is no chance
In ignorance to find bliss

Pick up your story from the end
Open your eyes, never pretend
There is a harbor for all ships
A cave to hide when winter sings

Sometimes spring is way ahead
And land won't seem to bloom
Shadows will cross through lonely paths
In distance no response

Call out to everything you love
And it shall hold you dear
Until the ghosts upon your path
Shall fade and disappear

"Some paths are there just to be crossed.
And words won't be talked over
As winds will gasp and storms will pass
Your ship will be turned over"
    These were very beautiful words.
"Pick up your story from the end
    Open your eyes, never pretend
Ther is a harbor for all ships
A cave to hide when winter sings."
    These were very professional phrases.
But the best is the last part...
"Call out to everything you love
And it shall hold you dear.
Until the ghosts upon your path
    Shall fade and disappear"
