Pain (Revisited)

There is no escape from pain.
It takes you over as it's domain.
No way you can hold it back.
Always there, ready to attack.

Heart starts racing.
Feet start pacing.
Completely loosing what's left of your mind.
Chills running up and down your spine.

After you have had enough,
Acting without delay.
You hold that knife to your wrist,
And you cut away.

Watching the blood wash down the drain,
Feeling the numb take over the pain.
