Days and years

by Hollywood   Aug 18, 2008

A smile dances
Across his pail face
As we sit in the hospital
A smell of death
Enters my nose
Painting a gross
Facial expression

My stomach
Hurts
My eyes watering
Your face turns
blue
Then It hits red
Then a purple tent
You fall to the ground
gasping for air
hitting the floor
With a huff sound

I screamed so loud
I thought I would have killed you
I thought you were gone

Days go by
Your still in a coma
I sit at the edge of your bed
Awaiting the day
I can see your smiling face!

I love you so much
Never do I intend to lose you
All because of a fever
All because she beat you
Your lungs couldn't take it
Your mind and heart
Was giving up
The fight!

I love you so much
And I will wait for the day I get to see
Your smiling face

No matter if its days or years
Know that I'll always be here!
