You were everything I thought you weren't...
You used me,
mentally abused me,
And all for what?
to say your sorry.
Sorry isn't just a word,
it means you want to start over,
and be forgiven for what you've done.
I wasn't born yesterday to see that i cared for you,
But I'm hurt,
and I'm going to get over you.
you don't deserve me.
But if I listen to my heart, which is broken,
I'll find, that somehow I still want to be with you.
Thats not possible,
no matter how much it hurts to admit.
Teary eyed as i am,
I'll get over you..
..if its the last thing ill do.
but i still feel that I love you,
or still do.
Things change
and yes, I know ill feel this way for a while,
but you didn't care,
you never did.
As stupid as I was to not see this till now. . .
I'll shame myself forever..
The question is, why?
Why would you hurt me?
