Not sure about this bit:

"Heavier and heavier it pelts to the ground
It's deafening "pit-pat" the only sound..."

"Pit-pat", to me, is a gentle sound. I think of the sound of storm-force rain as a hiss, or perhaps a roar. But hey, they're your words and maybe you think different to me!

It's a welcome and entertaining read though.

Wow!! i absolutely loved this piece. it's my favorite now! it was very detailed and creative. i can't imagine writing something like this. it was mesmerizing. and i just love poems about rain for some reason. you have a great talent, never quit writing. job well done. 5/5.
