Nervous over Nothing

My stepmother had surgery today.
She had an aneurysm in her brain.
I was so afraid about what would happen.

for the whole month I was trying to be positive.
But scary thoughts were at the back of my mind.
They kept crawling through it.

I had nightmares about what might happen,
If the surgury wasint successful.
I was afraid to fall asleep at night.

Then today was the surgery.
I was oh so terrified.
But I didn't let it show.

I just got a call saying everything was fine.
She is out of surgery,
and wake and OK.

So I was nervous over nothing.
And I am so happy,
That everything is fine again.

(today's date is August 18 2008 . Not a lot is known about aneurysms.)
