Eyes Reign Over

by Indian Comma Bean   Aug 19, 2008

Peacefully fins glide in innocence,
As rain falls down upon the surface,
Silently echoing in physical resonance,
Subtlety breaks; Mesmerizing residents.

Nature's tears slip slowly off leaflets,
Crashing softly down on rigged plains,
The emerald housing of the lesser; Flooding,
As panic emanates from voiceless victims.

Soaring through the source of gloom,
Where dismal giants reign over earth.
Swiftly winged critters navigate and observe,
As tear-less eyes think only of the flightless.

Staring out transparent barriers,
We watch in ignorance of the tragedy,
As the eye is coy in nature,
The mind of man is both distracted, yet intrigued.
