Fooled by love

My love has ran away with my heart and left me here broken
It's hard to breathe it feels like I'm choking
O this pain how it hurts me so
Love has now let me go.

I see grief and depression from afar ready to take me away
Darkness is rapidly approaching replacing the sunny day
I sit here shivering with tears rolling down my face
Thinking to myself why am I back at this place.

Once again I was tricked by deceit disguised as love
I close my eyes tightly wishing I was above
Above all the hurt above all the shame
Above all the clouds and above all the rain.
