A Cry in the Night

by Sorina   Aug 20, 2008

In the middle of the night she woke up,

She looked out the window, past the black sky

Seeing nothing but dark shadows around.

The trees were chanting, and the ground was dry,

The birds were sleeping, not making a sound.

She felt two hands on her back, a cry nearby;

She knew not to move, she knew what to do.

He turned her around, her eyes in his eyes

Sinking lower and lower on the ground

She hit the marble floor, closing her eyes.

Drifting herself in the warm crimson joy

She felt as he drained her life from her veins.

Remembering all the night summer rains,

She screamed and yelled one last cry in the night.

    Very eerie, the intensity. Absalutly amazing, 5/5.
