They Are Real

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Aug 20, 2008

Room is spinning round, and round again
Trying to keep the ground beneath my feet
Humming out one more love song
About how I feel completely incomplete

You know I could be wrong
You know I swear I'm right
The star filled sky of diamonds
Penetrates my skin tonight

Brain a million miles a second
And my hearts not any better
She can make me so happy
If I only let her

You know I could be wrong
But I'm right,
I swear I'm right
But then again I'm probably wrong

Everything you say to me
With a smirk upon your face
Shoots me past the atmosphere
Into star filled outer-space

Everything you say to me
I try not to forget
Maybe I will
Maybe I won't
But I know I haven't yet

I'm writing you a poem
Cause it's how you make me feel
The stars are not a metaphor
I am right
And they are real

^^ I adore this. The flow fit with the rest of the poem, which i didn't think it would at first because the lines are different....and the meaning's great..
