Then, now, and future

by Adam RIP Lesthat and Cody Hayden   Aug 20, 2008

Then::
I was sixteen,
when you came to me.
acting all shy,
the way you moved made any man want some part of your sky.
that was then.

Now::
I am eighteen now,
baby you still have me without a doubt.
rain or shine,
you are still mine.
that is now.

Future::
having some more kids later on,
while we still keep moving straight along.
never will I see you as just some girl,
but as my baby and my world.
that is in the future.

    Sweet poem. I think it's neat to look back at the past, but not to dwell on it. Just to look at the positives and everything. Then looking at the present and how things are and how the future may be. It's always interesting to look at. I loved how this poem did just that. You explained the past, present and the future involving someone who you apperently care so much about. Well done. 5/5.
