I layed eyes on you
and what a sight
i new i loved you
but all we did was fight

i remember the first time
you whispered i love you
and i replied
love you too

holding hand walking know where
just talking about everything
what we wanted in life
and what each other love brings

i was stupid though i let that go
just to have fun with other guys
i thought it would be okay
just to sat goodbye

but love don't work like that
it takes everything you got
and it always comes down to
you either have it or not

i know what our answer is
but what should i do
there's so many ways
to say i love you
