The passing (Shadorma)

by Crystal Rose Blooming   Aug 21, 2008

A rose grows
By an unknown grave
A lone bud
White as snow
As if mourning the passing
Of a man once known

Beautiful and very powerful. The image of one lone bud on a grave so sad.

A beautiful poem with so much said in those few syllables.
Indeed sometimes there is no one to visit the grave of one who passed away. To think of nature taking that place is a very comforting thought.
    Excellent poem:)

Simple but beautiful, so much emotion in such a short verse.
