The Amazing Plan

by Rodney Kirby   Aug 21, 2008

I will tell you a story of an amazing plan
About a boy who became a man,

Years passed by, the maturity never came
Loved ones hoped and prayed but it was always the same

To him no one cared, so he would run and hide,
Except a little girl who saw who's inside.

People said, you are foolish there is nothing there,
Her reply was, my love comes from God I do not care.

Some say, he only loves himself there will be too much pain,
The little girl smiled big and said, walk away and leave him for I have so much to gain.

Some said, foolish girl the boy has so much pain in his troubled past,
The little girl said, I will give him love then, a love that will last.

The little girl lowered her head and her eyes welled up with tears but she could not give up on the little boy that she loved so much. This was a special love, forgiving, patient and everlasting.

Some said, The boy is too selfish he will always run away,
She shouted in anger, I will overpower him with love and one day he'll stay.

The little boy prayed, God forgive me for all the bad things I have done and hurt that I have caused loved ones. And god answered, I do forgive you, but you must be punished for the pain you caused.

The little girl cried and said, god I love him so much, please don't take him from me,
God answered, look at all the pain he has caused, why can you see?

The little girl was angry and replied to god, I don't see love with my eyes, I see love with my heart,
Every boy who is bad deserves a new start.

God said, I will give him back to you, but make sure you stick to your plan,
The little girl smiled and said, God because of my love he is now a man.
