You let the innocent die
and the evil live
how does that make sense?
three years old
many operations
too many medications
survived all of it
was an inspiration
and motivation
for everyone; young & old.
until one day
you took her away
so young & innocent.
next was a boy
18 years old
diagnosed with cancer
and a brain tumor
went through surgeries
and medications
and unbearable procedures
you took him away
young & full of love.
now was an old man
65 years old
sick for months
had a wife and kids
and many grandkids
lovely family & life
was about to complete
his final goal in life-
retire & enjoy his family.
i cant believe it
how many people
can you take?
but i guess it was best
for their pain to end
young or old;
no one deserves to suffer
but now the families grieve
for their losses
and remember everything
that they had when these people
were alive & well.
all the memories saved
all the love shown
all the tears flow
all the people gone
all the love still here for them.
