Coastal Life

by Maddy   Aug 21, 2008

Waves roll and crash
pounding the sandy shore
frothy white surf
seagulls galore

Kids scream and laugh,
skipping and building sand castles
flying kites into the wind
those devious little rascals

Lovers hug and kiss
gazing out into the sea
walking hand in hand
enjoying each others company

The coast is so magnificent
I feel so alive and free
nothing else seems to matter
just the ocean and me
