Prayers

Are they heard?
Do angels listen to us
And lead us
Through life?

I pray every night
For friends and family
Who need it
Or they simply don't

I leave a prayer
Every night
For God to hear

Pray for me
For my desires
Anymore

Sometimes
I pray in my journal
Or out loud
Or in church

A prayer
Is supposed to be
A powerful thing
And I believe that
I've seen miracles happen
When I've left
A prayer
For an angel
Or for God to hear

When we sing
In church
It's like praying twice
Therefore everyday
I sing a song
For God

Prayer
Has changed my life
For the better
And I love God
More than anything
