Devastating chances

by Rahma   Aug 22, 2008

We started out as friends,
Didn't took long before our hearts were no longer ours

We didn't admit our feelings,
But everyone around knew we were meant for each other

I hear rumors about how much you adore me,
That was not enough to make you my boo

Seasons changed each passing year,
And our feelings only got stronger

One rainy day, you asked my number,
It didn't took you long to phone

I didn't say much and didn't express any emotions to you,
But the more I hold the more eager you got

Time passes again and you felt like I owed you to express myself,
Little did I knew you were stupid enough to look elsewhere for it

You looked for that same love all over the states,
But true love you never found

While you did your search,
I sat back and things took its course

Once your feet got tired and your heart got broken,
You came back to my door like a lost puppy

Although my love for you was locked up,
I decided to open the door for it once

When I made that decision,
I was thinking you would change and make some amendments

Although you cry about a change,
I don't see any effort or improvements

Now we are in the same place we were couple of years ago,
Why be stupid and ruin second chance

At the moment you aint the man for me,
And I doubt you will ever be but I don't know what is right for me anymore love
