Sweaty Tears

by Mishka   Aug 22, 2008

My brother, I see you struggling to get up
Please take my hand and some coins from my bag
Take my smiles and laughter
And my good luck
Leave behind those
Worthless rags

Sweet sister, you're crying
What is it you say?
You've lost your child to famine
Well here let me help you
Dig here this grave

Old mother, so tired
Been walking all day
Take my legs and my water
And please run away

Great daddy, you're so pale so weak
Where have those muscles gone that you need
You've never had them? Oh how so sad
Take here my strength that forever I've had

Tiny little child weeping for some love
Let me love you tender
Till your tears stop sweating blood
