A gasp, An intake of breath
A moment; only one
When you first meet
That you can see
Right into the body and soul
Gasping so that you lose control
Reality spinning silently away
As you grasp the light of day
Like the first tear drop beneath the moon
A love thats come and gone too soon
Like a willow then caught in a storm
The wind crys wild and you cant control
Your twisted heart that mangles itself so
To be so close and yet so far
To feel a touch but then it creates a scar
To feel the blood pumping in your veins
Bleeding out as a signal of pain
And now we have to ask ourselves
Is there anything to gain
From playing this way to obvious game
