MY WORLD

by Rodney Kirby   Aug 22, 2008

A LIGHT PIERCES THROUGH THE CRACK,
TOUCHING MY SKIN,
I FEEL SO SAFE IN MY DARKNESS,
I CONTROL WHAT LIGHT COMES IN,
I AM MASTER OF THIS ENVIROMENT.
THIS CURSED FACE THAT GOD HAS
GIVEN ME, BRINGS MANY SORROWS.
SO I HIDE IN THIS CLOSET, WHICH I
NOW CALL MY HOME.
I DARE NOT VENTURE OUT, FOR PEOPLE
ARE TOO MEAN, MANKIND
IS CRUEL.

A short but with a powerful message, yes it is cruel out in the world.
    a nice but sad read.
