Family "as if i had one"

People make up a family
but when the people never come together
there is no unity
you can't call that family
if time were to speed by there would be no change
our family is non existent
we are made up of failure,sadness,and desperation
there is no love just maybe a feeling of liking
hurting each other
is a mechanism we use to keep ourself safe
"you always have to look out for number one"
is our saying

communication is misplaced talking
better than talking to each other about important things
we rather gossip just because it's something to do
no one can escape the dooming nature of our "family"
