So I Guess This Is Called a Breakdown

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Aug 23, 2008

Someone get me to a doctor
Someone get me to a nurse
Suck this venom from my neck
This cold quicksilver hurts

So this is called a breakdown?
I haven't had one in so long
The cool quick numbness beating now
But everything feels wrong

Someone get me to a doctor
Give me something for my pain
Cause the numbness isn't working
I can feel it in my veins

So this is called a breakdown
The first in a few days
Why am I writing this down
Only three will read it anyways

The cold numbness is spreading
As it's beating in my chest
Stone black eyes and crooked smiles
Cold clenched sweat, at best

So I call this a breakdown
Haven't had one in a few days
Everything is fine, I swear it's fine
But nothing is ever okay
