I think the best thing I can say is that I seem to like almost all your poems. I find them easy to read and see them as friends asking to be read again and again, sometimes more slowly the second and third time. Many of the poems in the nature section are really great and very well done by so many different people. Yours is one of them.

Misty mountain mornings a kilo(used to measure weight...) from the coast
Sparrows and mousebirds calling, a sound that I love most (this line is too long and throws off the flow....it would read better as Sparrows, mousebirds, sounds that I love most....or something else a little shorter)
    Acacia trees in fiery bloom
As winter thunderheads begin to loom (a little long and the rhyme here seems a bit forced)
Stately pine a (can remove a) lonely sentinel
Warm sun piercing through it all
    Salty taste upon my lips
    Sticky sweat on fingertips
The (unnecessary filler word) fragrant smell of wild fig trees
    Lingers gently on the breeze
An early visit from a fiscal shrike
Eating the bugs he seems to like
And so I our visit draws to an end (shouldn't begin a line with and, and it is an unnecessary filler....)
We greet our family and our friends
    Goodbye

Good imagery and interesting word choice. Despite my criticism, I really enjoyed this piece! Nice job!
