You look at me with love;
You hug me oh so tight;
You kiss my lips with passion;
You hold me when I am scared;
You confide in me for advice;
You make me smile when I am sad;
You tell me that you care;
You protect me from my fears;
And,
You say you'll never let go.

You hug her, and you do not want to let go;
You kiss her, and the memories flood in;
You hold her just to hold her;
You confide in her for everything;
You make her smile, even when she's laughing;
You show her that you care;
You protect her from even herself;

You tell her that you love her, and that she is meant for you.
She tells you that she loves you, and for me, this means good-bye.
