We'll Miss You

by QuietDreamer   Aug 25, 2008

Yesterday the sky was blue,
The grass a lush green,
The people smiling, happy,
Life a precious treasure
Every moment spent to it's fullest

But somehow overnight
The vibrant colors faded
Leaving behind a wake of gray.
Smiles vanished from people's lives
Life a cherished memory
Every moment spent thinking of you.

Downpours of tears shed for you
Raining down onto the ground
But sighs of relief knowing
The sufferings that life has presented
Will bother you no more

poem written in memory of Charles Berg, a great husband, a great dad, and my grandfather
