I Ask You, Darling

by Unrequited   Aug 25, 2008

And do your
fingertips
taste as
sweet as

I have imagined
all these years?

I lie in
fresh rose mountains
pondering
such imagery.

Why did someone downvote this? You certainly do not deserve that....

    "And do your
    fingertips

    sweet as
    I have imagined
    all these years?"

I love this part, simple yet not cliche.

    "I lie in
    fresh rose mountains
    pondering
    such imagery."

This stanza gives off imagery alone and is so beautiful in its own way. This was a very cute love poem, short but well-penned. Keep up the great work!
