Fly girl fly

by Shadow Heart   Aug 26, 2008

Burying her pain and guilt,

A sharp inhale I hear,

She spends every breath,

Wastes every tear.

She wants her soul to change,

She wants to smile and be okay,

She wants to let go of her past,

And look forward to today.

She looks down,

So she stands with choices to make,

She tries not to consider,

What will be her last mistake.

She wants to let go,

As she stands on the ledge,

She wants the world to stop,

By her razor's edge.

She lets out her soul,

She desires to die,

So she spreads out her wings,

Fly girl, fly.
