A creature

by Ontherunsearching   Aug 26, 2008

A creature so beautiful and pure within
Surrounded by shallow people who try to fit in
Standing in the centre of all that takes place
Absorbing herself into this enormous space

Looking deep inside, deeper than anyone can ever see
No holding back, it is too late now to flee
Taking a moment to reflect on what has been
Finds pain and misery too ugly to be seen

The truth isn't nice but has to be revealed
Her destiny, from the beginning it was sealed
Her existence has always been surrounded by lies
No escape, but she always tries

Shaped thru numerous false intentions
Only damage and pain came from peoples interventions
Her heart turned numb and she could feel no more
Feelings shot down, thoughts tried another door

They started to analyze her life and everyone in it that came along
Found no answers, so she asked herself what she had done wrong
Turned to God, called on His wisdom and prayed
She cried out, but no reply was made

Unknowing what to do next, she felt an upcoming delay
Since questions stayed unanswered and only increased every day
The search for her destiny begun and she started to grow
As insecurity kicked in and her imperfection started to show

Turning human again, feelings started to come back
But the hour stroke, darkness came in and everything turned black
Her innocence was replaced in the absence of her faith
Emptiness was all that remains until this date

A creature that holds such pain won't give up
Because her will made her stronger thru everything she has lived up
Loneliness can destroy her; emptiness can kill everything her mind will contain
The beauty and purity that lives within however, will always remain
