What no-one has to know

Summary

No-one knows how I feel inside
No-one knows all that I can hide
No-one knows the deepest me
And no-one knows how I truly can be

What I feel are remains of long gone
What I feel is past tense, yet still where I belong
What I feel hurts further than imagination can reach
Cause what I feel goes beyond any lesson you will ever teach

Strength is what one believes he has taught
Strength in reality is something that can't be caught
Strength is what I truly fear most
As strength is like my demon, my nightly ghost

I'm haunted by my visions, every single day
I'm haunted by my imagination, no matter how much I pray
I'm haunted for numerous reasons, all accounted for
So I'm haunted till the end of days, or maybe more

A life of doubt is what I choose to live
A life of doubt is all I have to give
A life of doubt is the only thing certain
A life of doubt is what stays when I draw the curtain

Missed opportunities are what keeps me in the dark
Missed opportunities are what kills the last spark
Missed opportunities are in the end to count
Since missed opportunities are all I choose in life to be found

In conclusion
What no-one has to know is the struggle I go through every day
What no-one has to know is what I'll never say
What no-one has to know is not for any eye to see
What no-one has to know is the real me
