Years go by,
One second at a time.
People change,
They age,
They die.
Gone are the days of dinner at 5.
Now I'm part of a new generation lucky to get home by 9.
Society tells me I should live my life in fear.
President Bush tells me that Bin Laden is near.
I'll live my life one day at a time.
I'll live my life and look towards tomorrow.
I know a new day is here, and soon a new leader to follow.
I'll trust in the now,
Remember my past.
The future's a blur, and
I can never look back.
