Falling stars.

The stars up in the sky,
Flawless, shining.
Like they are frozen,
Frozen in time.

I watch them,
Willing them to fall.
Wanting a frozen star of my own,
To cherish.

They all fall,
Raining down.
The eternal sleep has begun,
Every star is someones life.

I lie on the ground,
Among the frozen stars.
Cold and shining bright,
The stars will never die...
