It was the witching hour
And the only sound that I could perceive
Was the echo of its breathing
As it climbed the stairs that led to my room

i took one look at this poem and decided it would be lame cause it was long and long poems are lame.
but i read that first part and it hooked me in.
what was this "it"
what does this have to do with breathing.
lets just say i was silly to first think that a masterpiece like this was lame.

U know that i LOVE this poem.. its sooo good, reading it again i found that there were some things i orginally missed,, but from reading the other comment, what dose it have to do with breathing? in the email u said it was something of a vampire, theroticly if it were a vampire it wouldent need to breath becauce its heart would aready have been stopped and thus it wouldent need to breath to keep itself alive.. OR maby its half vampire half human? that would be intresting... but um is it still okay if i use it for one of my stories? im probably going to write it over the weekend and ill email it to u but i wont write it if its not ok... god this poem is so good! 10/5
