Passage Of Time

by Amy   Jun 4, 2004

Time moves so slowly
i stare at the clock on the wall
it doesn't seem
to be moving at all

Every second seems
like a century gone by
100 years of loneliness
no one hears my desperate cry

And still that clock
hangs up above
and i sit here and stare
watching other ppl love

Jealous of their happiness
and living in the light
while i sit here in the dark
losing life's fight

I want it to end
but time plays its game
going so slowly
driving me insane

Staring out my window
a weak ray of sun
my heart sinks
as the day has just begun

Another whole day
of sitting here in doubt
waiting for death
till my time has run out
