We All Fall Down

by Skyfire   Aug 29, 2008

Ashes, ashes,
we all fall down
as the wind
whispers, whispers
without a sound.
Crying, crying,
a dusty hand
and dusty heart
reaching, reaching
for help to stand.
Shaking, shaking,
from tears and blood
dripping, dripping
hate and love.
Ashes, ashes,
we all fall down
but when I'm
falling, falling,
will I be found?

Nice work, really! I love the play on the nursery rhyme, I think that's really what makes it so good. Keep it up.
    Take care,

What is found and lost are the same within chaos...every truth a lie, every sound an echo.
