Faith Above Doubt..

This message from on high it sends
A bantam chance to make amends
From afar a streak of luminescence
With it comes a predominant essence

So very remote, yet still quite nigh
Very well could be a latent goodbye
My heart races at the very thought
"Isn't this everything you have sought?"

A millennia of reflections to express
These dire emotions I must suppress
From this message I must discover
Might suiting again make her my lover

Strive to attend to her every utterance
Each statement make ones of substance
As her indecision becomes very apparent
Aim to remove everything that's inherent

Attend to her each and every thought
Oh the courage that she must've brought
To initiate this dialogue once again
Arduous the call so had to have been

Fleeting like a cool breeze in August
Time will tell if my continued pining is just
As dusk dissolves into longing obscurity
In the darkness now a hint of security
