Wow... this poem is so touching and expressive. I loved the theme and meaning. The ending was really strong and powerful to me...

My favorite stanza/ paragraph is this:

She whispers to me in my sleep, sweet nothings coaxing me into the dreamless sleep that I've grown to fear. I don't know how to tell myself to stop screaming, kicking, crying, wondering what presses on my shoulders.
She is the silent musician, my ears wrapped around her melancholy notes.. Something is askew in my fantasies, something pulling me back while I walk forward.
