Im standing outside your door,
Rehearsing just what to say.

Nah that sounds corny and far too lame.

Should I try to play it cool?
Lean against your door and say, wassup?

Nah I dont want to sound cocky,
With an ego too big for my head.
I knock three times quickly,
Deciding to wing it instead.

The door opens and I freeze,

Sarah just stood there looking at me,
A shocked look was in her eyes.
The silence shattered when I heard a guy say,
Sarah is everything alright?

Everything went into slow motion,
Then I turned and ran away.
I had run a block and my phone started ringing,
I picked up to hear you say.

Justin, I tried to tell you,
But you had started running and it was too late.
That guy was my brother and hes leaving now,
So yes, I would love to go on that date.
