Take me Home

by Ahmed Ali   Aug 30, 2008

The call of sadness overflows
it tears right through these walls of closed
it screams to love like the embrace of a rose
my crimson blood is ready to be exposed

baby, come here and hold my hand
i'll take you to places that you won't quite understand
we'll live our lives under these sapphire skies
the ones that loom over the crimson sea of lies

a love to loathe, a love to loff
a love to start, a love to stop
it never began nor did it ever end,
it's a continuous void of an unwilling ascend

the clouds of your eyes are raining to thunder
there is nowhere to hide; neither over or under
a picture of your voice leads me to wonder
how I keep myself complete; not to be torn asunder

baby, come here and hold my hand
I'll take you to places that you will understand
we'll live our lives inside that castle in the sky
the one that's surrounded by crimson clouds of lies

a love to loathe, a love to loff
a love to start, a love to stop
it never began nor did it ever end,
it's a continuous void of an unwilling descend

by the horns of a rose, intertwined are both our hearts
it still paints a pretty picture even when it's falling apart
it is a sight of lost hope as it tears away from the whole
the dying seeds of the passionate crimson souls
