Remember

by Robert Anthony   Aug 30, 2008

I remember those days
when we laughed so hard
with that stupid phrase
we used for the yard

I remember the time
you put me to bed
with that nursery rhyme
then kissed my head

I remember that night
the night you left
you guys had that huge fight
and you actually left

I still remember, I remember
the good and the bad
Mom, do you remember?
remember all the fun we had...

I've read a lot of poems, some go on for hours, line after line but rarely do i read something so full of depth. you've captured your emotions really well in this. good job, +5.

I think this would look even better with proper punctuation marks as written above.

A very short yet straight from the heart piece. I have the same issue with my family but a little worse than that. Few words but meant a lot and meant deeper impact in one’s life. Sometimes even words are not enough to describe what you have inside. Good Job.
