Stories I Won't Let Myself Tell

by Mishka   Aug 30, 2008

It's still dark today
I looked out the window
Saw the birds flying
They look as if they're crying

Whats wrong I whisper
Under my breath
My heart is tightened
My lips are frightened

It's still gray outside
But the sun is shining
My brain is swimming
Drowning, lying

When I am good
I am the best
When you are good
You are at rest

She said to me
Hunny, don't worry
You'll wake up soon
Then you'll tell us your story

She shut me up
Told me to die
She didn't let me say it
And now I'll never fly
